Jeff Funke

OSHA Compliance Expert

Serves as an Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) subject matter expert to industry clients and legal counsel on a wide range of occupational safety and health matters specifically related to employer obligations under the OSH Act. Provides expert guidance on the nature and scope of jurisdictional applicability of the OSH Act related to different aspects of the workplace regarding the regulatory requirements of 29 CFR 1910 General Industry and 29 CFR 1926 Construction.
Experienced safety and health professional with extensive knowledge of industrial hygiene principles and feasible application in the workplace. Performs safety and health compliance audits and on-site training to assist industry clients and legal counsel regarding their obligations under the OSH Act. Provides deposition and trial testimony on a broad array of matters related to occupational safety and health, OSHA compliance, and best practices.

Assists, prepares, and performs work involved with the TSS Driver License Monitoring Program, Driver Qualification Program and staff training. Supports day to day accounting functions and projects.  

Leander Pickens

DOT Compliance Expert, Data Q Coordinator

Performs mock-DOT audit evaluations for hourly and retainer consulting clients. Manages retainer client visit schedule. Represents clients during DOT audit events. Manages and coordinates all aspects of client Data Q challenge programs. Provides expert guidance to our clients, staff and serves as the primary subject matter expert to the Compliance Program Specialists when compliance advice is needed for TSS Consortium and Full Service clients. Commercial Motor Vehicle Inspection expert, truck and bus operations. Provides training and related certification to client vehicle maintenance and inspection departments. Performs DOT compliance and safety related expert work for insurers, counselors, and other interested parties. His work includes consultation only, not court testimony.

Robin Younkin

Drug & Alcohol Programs Coordinator

Coordination of drug and alcohol programs for clients, as well as other clinical evaluation services stipulated (DOT Physical Exams, Respirator Fitness Exams, Pulmonary Function Testing, Agility testing, etc). Responsible to establish and support all TPA vendor relationships with DOT certified (NIDA) labs, medical facilities, specimen collection sites, and Medical Review Officer (MRO) service providers. Assist in the nation-wide administration of client pre-employment, random, reasonable suspicion and post-accident testing programs. Day-to-Day support to clients participating in TPA services. DOT drug and alcohol collector for in-house specimen collections.

Drug & Alcohol Programs Coordinator

Responsible for review and entering client/vendor invoice data related to our TPA Services for our TSS Consortium & Testing Services to ensure billing and request for payments are accurate and verified. Assists with coordination of drug and alcohol programs for clients, as well as maintains TPA vendor relationships with labs, medical facilities, specimen collection sites, and Medical Review Officer (MRO) service providers. Assists in the nation-wide administration of client pre-employment, random, reasonable suspicion and post-accident testing programs. Day-to-Day support to clients participating in TPA services and DOT drug and alcohol collector for in-house specimen collections.

Driver Qualification Representative

Responsible for all aspects of Driver Qualification matters. This includes performing background verifications for drivers who apply to work for our clients. Responsible to establish and maintain DQ files for clients, and to report driver terminations as they occur. Responsible to assure that drivers have been certified as medically qualified to operate commercial motor vehicles. Responsible to ensure driver credentials are maintained during employment with our clients.

Driver Logbook / Hours of Service Compliance

Responsible for supporting clients as it relates to driver Hours of Service compliance programs. This involves scanning and auditing of driver duty status records (Logs) for compliance to applicable hours of service limitations, and verification of log accuracy. Responsible to oversee, download, and evaluate electronic logs data (E-Logs) for clients who have implemented such technology. Provides assistance to clients with regard to education regarding Hours of Service compliance. Compiles monthly management reports for clients to use as a basis for providing driver discipline and remedial training.
